After resting at Williams for over two years the EGG took a quick trip to Minden and back during August 2023.

CAPTURING PILOT: Philip Lee

Flight from Williams to Minden around the horn via Shasta area (Dunsmuir) , Airsailing and Patterson. Team flying with Ramy for double capture of the PASCO Egg. Great conditions although we managed to get in a hole at Trinity Lake to make things more difficult.

On the previous day the EGG was captured from Williams, CA.

Straight out from Minden to Williams “around the horn” via Lassen, Burney, Castle Crags (Shasta area) and Trinity Lake. Short Slutty yo-yo over the Mendocino mountains at the end for an extra 100k. Great conditions entirely below 13k bases, despite lots of haze Minden area and the northern Sierra due to smoke. Was mostly easy and straight forward except a big blue gap once I left the sierras which got me below 7K over Shasta Lake. The goal was to land at Williams, capture the long forgotten PASCO Egg, spend the night and fly the reverse tomorrow.
